Even in a bustling setting, the highlight remains the culinary masterpieces. Diners have noted minor hiccups, such as overcooked lobster and scallops, but overall, the flavors shine through. In spite of being a very busy restaurant, Mt. Fuji had us in a booth within 5 minutes. The staff was fabulous, the food outstanding and the service was excellent. We had spicy edamame and fried dumplings for the appetizers. In addition, we had the Super Sushi Boat for dinner which fed 4 hungry people.
Always a good time and good food around the Hibachi table. I go for a steak and calamari combo. Wonderful. Add some sake and maybe a sushi starter and it is already too much food. But really good. Table chefs are good at entertaining whilst cooking. Only downside is the acoustics are terrible. Can't hear beyond the person sitting next to you. Wish they'd fix that.
I absolutely love this place and we have been a few times. Staff here are awesome, very welcoming and super friendly, in fact the other restaurants around them could learn a few things from these guys, highly suggest teying these guys out, food is great and they will cater to your needs, wish i could rate them more than 5 stars.
My absolute favorite spot to eat. A bit pricey but oh so good. They have revolving Japanese Chefs cooking your hibachi dinner, so more authentic than the Mexican chefs at Benihannas. Food is always great!
I went and had Hibachi with ten co-workers on a Friday evening. The chef was great and made us laugh. The food was great although the lobster and scallops were overcooked. It's pricey with an 18% gratuity included for parties of 6, but it's worth it.
Went to Mt. Fuji for Mother’s Day, and wow—it was busy! Luckily, we got seated quickly, probably because we went for sushi (I imagine the wait was longer for hibachi). Despite the crowd, the service was fast and efficient. The food was absolutely delicious, and everything came out fresh. The person I assume was the manager was really on top of things, making sure everything ran smoothly. Great place—definitely recommend!
Went for their sushi during lunch and the staff were all friendly and quick with taking our order and bringing the food out. It’s subjective, but I feel like the waitress and other staff passing by checked on us the right amount (not too often and not too scarcely either). The sushi was also pretty good, too! Being in Colorado, all sushi doesn’t taste suuuper fresh like it does in places where they don’t have to freeze the seafood first; however, this still hit the spot! I would definitely go again.
We recently visited Mt. Fuji Sushi and Hibachi in Southlands, Aurora, to show our appreciation for our amazing Lead Groomer and her husband. As owners of a small mobile pet grooming company, we were hoping for a memorable experience, and Mt. Fuji did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the warm and welcoming staff. Their hospitality set the tone for what turned out to be an extraordinary evening. The food was outstanding—each dish was a delight, perfectly prepared, and presented with such flair that we found ourselves eagerly trying everything. With such generous portions, we couldn't finish all our meals and happily took home leftovers, which were just as delicious the next day. What made the evening truly special was the entertainment factor. The hibachi chefs put on an incredible show that had us all laughing and taking loads of photos. The energy and skill they displayed added an extra layer of enjoyment to our meal, making it a night to remember. Mt. Fuji's high standards in both food and service are commendable. The entire experience exceeded our expectations, and we left feeling not just full, but delighted and thoroughly entertained. It's a pleasure to highly recommend Mt. Fuji Sushi and Hibachi in Aurora's Southlands. We look forward to our next visit!
